I’ve decided it’s time to integrate my blog and website, so hello from the nice new WordPress-powered Nut and Bee website! I’m going to be posting all my blog entries and the Sketchbook Sweeties here from now on, rather than on LiveJournal.
Everything should look much the same, but it’s all different under the hood so please do let me know if you find anything that isn’t working!
The main difference to the site setup is that the Sketchbook Sweeties will no longer have their little voting forms. I hope this doesn’t upset anyone! I have been paying close attention to the results, but to be honest most drawings get approximately the same number of responses, and each product type tends to get picked in approximately the same proportion, so I have to make my own decisions about which ones will become products anyway. Every entry here has a comments feature, so if there is an illustration you particularly like you can still tell me what you’d like to see me do with it :)
If you’d like to read this blog using an RSS reader, the feed address is http://www.nutandbee.com/feed/rss2/ – and if you haven’t tried an RSS reader yet I would highly recommend it! You can keep up with lots of different websites without having to check to see if they’ve updated or not, it saves so much time, I love it. Google Reader is my favourite but there’s others out there.
Oh, and I’ve imported most of this month’s entries from the old blog, so that the new site coverage starts with the new year, so do not be confused by those dated before this one!

Great stuff. I like being able to see your sketchbook sweeties and your blog in one hit. Easy for me to see if I missed a sweetie too.

I love the new site, simple but gorgeous.
Added to Google Reader too.

Google Reader is actually quite clunky, I recommend Feedreader if you’re on Windows or NewsFire if you’re on Mac. Way better.

@Evoke: I tried quite a few programs and Google Reader was my favourite, it handles the content exactly how I want to read it :) But of course it depends on your preferences, so thank you for sharing your recommendations!
