A little preview of what will be coming once I get back from holiday: more rubber stamps! The sheets arrived today and I think they look great. There’s nine new designs, and some of the existing ones that have sold out will be restocked.
I’ve also figured out how to make selling individual stamps work out, which wasn’t possible to start with, so once these are launched you’ll be able to buy a single stamp if you like. And the new packaging is so nice!
I must admit my hand aches a little thinking about cutting all of these up, hee. (Don’t worry, I’ll take it easy and just do a few at a time. I’m quite careful about not straining my hands or arms since they’re so important for my work. I might try and buy some of those special rubber stamp scissors in Tokyo, which will make the job a lot easier!)

Yay, stamps! I have my eye on that unicorn one :P And to be able to purchase singulary is cool.

The stamps are so cute, but as you say, ouchie, even with special scissors. I wonder if you could cut them with something like a jigsaw, which would be scary but easier on the hands? Rubber is a giant pain!

@Msconduct The rubber itself is not too bad to cut, it’s the adhesive foam underneath – not only is it hard to get scissors through, but it’s very very sticky, and that comes off and gums up the blades. I tried a craft knife with the first batch but it was nowhere near sharp enough to get through both layers without significant risk of impalement… I don’t think I’d have enough control with anything else. It’s OK to do a dozen or so stamps at a time, but definitely not an all-day job :)
