I had a bit of bad luck a few days ago and knocked my digital camera off my desk, which I discovered tonight has thoroughly broken it. Wah! It’s about five years old so there’s no point in sending it off for repair; I can upgrade to a much better model for not much more than a technician would charge to look at it. I’ve done some research, and have decided which one I want, but I’m not sure yet whether it’s available locally or not. If my phone calls tomorrow morning don’t bring any joy I will have to order it online, though I should be able to arrange next-day shipping.
I need to take some pictures to finish preparing for the July update, so I’m going to have to bump it back a day. Unless I have a problem getting hold of the camera – in which case I’ll post again – it will go up on Thursday 2nd July at 9am New Zealand time.
That’s:
7am Thursday in Sydney
10pm Wednesday in London
5pm Wednesday in New York
2pm Wednesday in Los Angeles
… or you can use timeanddate.com to find your local time.
There will be a new amigurumi, and some other nice items I hope you like :)

Oh boo for your camera. Mine got busted recently and I had to pay more than half the cost to fix it and it was brand new. Hope you get good news

Hope you find the new one soon. My husband once dropped his camera on cement and broke it. Being technically savvy he fixed it with eBay parts but it never was the same. You’re better off getting a snazzy new one.

Ooh, what kind of camera did you get?

@Millie I chose the Fuji FinePix S1500. The camera I just broke is a (much older) FinePix and I’ve been very happy with that over the years. The S1500 is quite a big upgrade, so even though I’m annoyed at myself for the accident I’m excited to play with it :)
